No. 350 (Belgian) Squadron, was the first Belgian squadron of the Royal Air Force.The squadron's missions consisted of convoy escort missions in the Irish Sea from RAF base Atcham. In April 1942, the squadron moved to Debden air base and from there carried out offensive missions over France. It used only Spitfire. -

No. 349 Squadron was a Royal Air Force squadron created with Belgian personnel at the Ikeja base in Nigeria on 10 November 1942. In 1944, the squadron carries out reconnaissance and ground attack missions on the beaches then escorts the bombers. It will participate in the liberation of France, Belgium, the Netherlands
